Foles, recognizing an opportunity to rediscover his passion for the game, accepted the offer.
Foles' time with the Chiefs was about more than just football; it was about rekindling a lost flame. "I called Andy and told him, 'If you'll still have me, I think there's still something inside me. There's still something and I think if anywhere I can get it -- it would be with you,'" he recollected. This decision proved to be the turning point in his career. "I broke down in tears in the film room. I was excited to go to practice again."
Fast forward eighteen months, and Foles found himself back with the Eagles, leading them to their first-ever Super Bowl championship. Foles became the only quarterback in NFL history to throw and catch a touchdown pass in the postseason, further cementing his legacy. His stellar performance was characterized by a remarkable level of accuracy, as he now holds the highest completion percentage in NFL playoff history at 68.1%.
