Euro 2024 is upon us as the best teams in Europe square off to determine who will be crowned kings of the continent. Italy are the reigning champions, but nations like England, France, Spain, and Portugal are eager to have their say in the matter. Not to be overlooked, hosts Germany also have strong ambitions to lift the trophy on home soil.
The action began on June 14 and will culminate on July 14 with the highly anticipated final. Many of the world's top players will feature in this summer spectacle, including France's Kylian Mbappe and England's Jude Bellingham. While traditional powerhouses draw much of the attention, smaller nations like Georgia and Albania hope to spring some surprises and make deep runs in the tournament.
In total, 16 of the 24 teams from the group stage will advance to the knockout stages, setting the scene for dramatic and intense matches as the competition progresses.

Venues
A total of 24 teams will compete across 10 German cities in the 17th edition of the competition. The venues have been renamed by UEFA specifically for this event to give a special touch to the tournament.
Group Stage Venues
Arena AufSchalke, Cologne Stadium, Waldstadion, and Leipzig Stadium will host games up until the Round of 16. These fixtures will be played at:

- Düsseldorf's Merkur Spiel-Arena (Fortuna Düsseldorf)
Knockout Stage Venues
Fußball Arena München and BVB Stadion Dortmund will host games up until the semifinals. The fixtures will be played at:
- Munich's Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich)
- Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park (Borussia Dortmund)
The grand final will be held at Berlin's Olympiastadion (Hertha BSC), rounding off a month-long festival of football in Germany.
